ADComms expands capabilities with new appointments

Date: February 2015

ADComms, one of Europe’s leading providers of telecommunications solutions for the rail sector, has made two new key appointments as a result of ongoing expansion of its capabilities across the rail government and enterprise sectors. Andrew Waters joins the Scunthorpe-based company as business development director for the non-rail sector, while Fay Neill has been appointed as a senior project manager specialising in major projects within the rail industry.

Andrew brings with him nearly 30 years of experience within the telecommunications sector. His most recent role was that of business development director at telecommunications company Affini Technology; a position he held for six years.

Fay Neill joins ADComms after six years in a project management role at Network Rail on major signalling schemes.

Both appointments follow continued expansion for ADComms, with the company undertaking increasingly large-scale projects across a variety of sectors.

Andrew Waters said:

“I’m delighted to be joining ADComms. One of the company’s key qualities that attracted me was its strong focus from the management team. They are constantly looking forward to tomorrow, and seeking to challenge telecoms tradition - their reputation for innovation within the industry is certainly well founded.

“As business development director for the non-rail sector, I’ll be looking to expand ADComms’ capabilities across a range of areas in employing these skillsets across a range of additional key sectors. This includes the emergency services, the construction industry and other government sectors.”

Neill added:

“I’m thrilled to be joining ADComms because of its excellent reputation within the rail sector as a dynamic, future-focused company. My aim is to help maintain its industry-leading position and to continue effectively delivering projects to exceed customer expectations. I have a great opportunity to develop my own skills, and am looking forward to working within a successful, closely-knit team.”

Jason Pearce, ADComms’ managing director, commented:

“We are seeking exciting investment in new technology within critical infrastructures and which require excellent engineering and delivery professionals. As such we’re delighted to welcome Fay and Andrew, both respected and experienced professionals, to the business. We look forward to expanding our capabilities across emergency services, the construction industry and the wider telecoms network - an exciting and new range of sectors to where we can add value and expertise for to our customers.”
