ADComms expands into Scotland with new Glasgow office

Date: November 2014

Integrated telecoms specialist ADComms (ADComms), has made a major commitment to the Scottish rail sector, with the opening of a new office in Glasgow. The move is in response to client demand and a growing portfolio of projects in the region.

A local team is in place to provide an end to end telecommunications service backed by expertise in GSMR, FTN and RF from ADComm’s Scunthorpe headquarters.

“This is an exciting and strategically important move, that will give the business a further competitive edge,”
says Jason Pearce, managing director of the ADComms Group.

“The new office, developed in direct response to client feedback and growing demand from the wider rail industry, will give us a good base to support Network Rail projects, as well as our wider transport infrastructure client base across Scotland.

“These are exciting times for the business, and I’m looking forward to growing the business in Scotland,” added senior project manager Craig Laidlaw, part of the ADComms Group’s new Scotland team. “Our extensive experience in the transportation and mobile telecoms markets will install the confidence among our new client base that we can deliver on our promises.”

ADComms is already well established as a provider of end-to-end telecoms solutions to the rail sector in Scotland. Most recently, the company was involved in the Border Rail project, which includes the building of seven new stations across a 49 kilometre stretch.
