On track for success: ADComms shortlisted in Sunday Times Tech Track 100

Date: August 2015

ADComms' parent company Core Group has been shortlisted in the prestigious Hiscox Tech Track 100. Compiled by the Sunday Times, the annual league table celebrates private tech companies with the fastest growing sales over the last three years.

In 2011, telecommunications specialist ADComms was acquired by Core Group, cementing its position as Europe's leading provider of rail telecommunications solutions. Working with some of the country's foremost transport companies, including Network Rail and London Underground, as well as leading-edge technology providers, ADComms has enjoyed a period of rapid expansion, opening four new offices over the course of the past year.

2015 marks the third year in which the company has been included in the list. From 2010 to 2013 alone, Core Group, which is helmed by founder and chief executive Tony Greaves, has grown significantly following of the growth of its largest subsidiary, ADComms. With a turnover in excess of £25m, ADComms is the largest division within the group.

ADComms’ recent expansion has seen it open two new offices in Manchester, complementing the city's reputation as a hub of future rail development. Hot on the heels of a series of contract wins, ADComms has recently been awarded a number of high profile projects, including a project to extend GSM-R coverage to support the introduction of Crossrail services to Heathrow Airport.

Jason Pearce, chief executive at ADComms, commented:

"We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the third year in a row for the Tech Track 100. It is testament to our company's efforts to develop and grow our work in key sectors, including rail."
